"In 2010 the laptop shoulder bag category had one default design: a horizontal black rectangle. I looked at that and asked a simple question, why? A laptop can be a vertical object. Your body is a vertical object. Why are all laptop bags horizontal? There was no good answer. I had a theory that changing the way laptops are carried would bring a whole host of benefits. Our MacBook Flight Jacket case was the first proof of this theory. A compact vertical design that moved with the person wearing it. This was someone who had been suffering under the weight and bulk of horizontal cases since laptops debuted. I know, because I talked to them all the time. Their Flight Jacket would arrive and a few days later I would get a call explaining what a revelation the vertical design was to use.
