Will a MacBook Pro Case Cause Overheating?

14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro uses an active cooling system with internal fans, unlike MacBook Air's passive cooling. This means the Pro manages heat more aggressively and is less susceptible to case-related thermal issues than the Air. However, a MacBook Pro carry case that blocks the bottom vents or restricts airflow can still reduce cooling efficiency under sustained heavy loads.

Will a MacBook Pro case void my Apple warranty?

No. Using a third-party MacBook carrying case does not void your Apple warranty. Apple's warranty covers manufacturing defects regardless of whether a case is used. Physical damage from a drop is not covered by Apple's standard warranty whether or not a case was in use.

What warranty do MacCase MacBook Pro products carry?
