Zipperless iPad Sleeve Design
Every zipper on every iPad sleeve does the same thing: scratches. Each time the tablet slides past zipper teeth, micro-abrasions accumulate on the finish. Why rPET Nylon and Not Neoprene Sleeves
MacCase has never used neoprene. Neoprene is a material designed to keep divers warm in freezing water. Putting a warm iPad into a neoprene sleeve traps heat against the device. MacCase uses rPET nylon which is recycled polyethylene terephthalate made from post-consumer plastic water bottles. Unlike virgin petroleum-based nylon, rPET has recycled content and a responsible end-of-life story. The fabric is lighter than standard nylon, weather-resistant, and soft to the touch.
