Could Be Improved

Love the quality of the case; but, wish there was a snap or strap to better secure the top flap. I found that if case is upside down the iPhone would fall out.

Herman- Thank you for your feedback. There should be 2 velcro closures on the flap that should keep the phone from falling out, even if upside down. If your case doesn't include the ability to securely close the flap, please let us know. Thanks again.

But there is too much artificial patina used on the case.

Hans - The patina is a result of the minimal tanning process our vintage hides go through. The pouch will continue to patina in as you use it. If the patina process is not something you appreciate, I would suggest choosing our black pebble grain hides. These are a satin-finished leather that retains the same look year after year.

Best IPhone Case ever.

These cases are well made, great stitching, great leather. The only change I would make is to replace the Velcro with snaps, which is what I did.

iPhone 8 case

The looks, workmanship, and impact-resistance of our new MacCase are impressive and it's received many compliments. While it fits the iPhone 8 extremely well, ours has a beautiful leather Apple sleeve which made the fit overly snug until I stretched the MacCase a bit. Now it's perfect! And it was inexpensive.

My wife's durable leather MacCase (it holds her MacBook Pro and iPad simultaneously) has experienced about ten years of international travel and it's only gotten better-looking as it ages. Thus--when we recently purchased an iPhone 8 Plus--I had to check to see if MacCase makes a leather case for it.

Yes, indeed, they make such a case, and it's a handsome, well-made, and inexpensive one!! Unfortunately our iPhone--the Product(red) version--came with Apple's beautiful red leather case and it wouldn't fit easily into our new MacCase slipcase (and there was no way we were going to stop enjoying the red Apple case). So ... with a little ingenuity, a homemade oak stretcher, and a hairdryer, it was a simple task to enlarge the MacCase slipcase.
