Disappointed

I was hoping this was shorter in length and more pliable. I was going to use it for my shoulder bag purse. A little too wide also
It is quality made but too stiff and long and wide for what I need it for.

The Shoulder Pad is Definitely a Must!

The shoulder pad should probably be included (with the additional cost) and not an added option. For distracted shoppers like myself, you may not notice that the strap does not have any padding and just order the case. Once I received the case in the mail, I realized my error and then ordered the shoulder pad. The weight of a laptop and any other materials can be quite heavy and the padding is pretty much always necessary. I LOVE my bag (my first lasted me over 10 years) and maybe I am just a princess in need of more comfort :-)

Our Premium Leather Shoulder Pads

Not everyone needs one of our shoulder pads to add to their Flight Jacket or iPad Briefcase. Cut from the same ethically sourced hides as all of our Premium Leather models, these feature real foam rubber not aerated plastic. Real rubber is infinitely more comfortable and durable and is at the heart of our Premium Leather shoulder pads.

Foam Rubber vs. Aerated Plastic

If you have ever had the padding in backpack straps, a seat cushion or other "padded" items go flat, that was aerated plastic. It's much more expensive to use natural foam rubber vs. aerated plastic, but at MacCase we could not make a shoulder bag designed to last years and even ecades and equip it with a shoulder pad designed to last months.

Shoulder Pads - Optional or included?


Our Shoulder Pads are standard on our Premium Leather Messenger Bags and Flight Cases. They are optional on all Flight Jacket models. When reviewing the Flight Jacket, we felt the best way to offer these pads was to do it as an option. This lets customers choose whether they want to pay for it or not at the same time, allows us to keep the price for the base laptop case as low as possible.
